Only 20 minutes from London Kings Cross. Travelling to St. Albans could not be easier...
By Rail:
Less than 20 minutes from London Kings Cross, St Albans is served by the Thameslink service through central London from the South Coast and Gatwick and to Luton and Bedford. The Silverlink service via Watford connects St. Albans with the North London line, main West Coast line and London Euston to Scotland.
By Road:
Close to the M1, Al and M25, St. Albans is accessible from all parts of the UK.
By Bus and Coach:
St. Albans is well connected on the local bus network, with services from North London,
Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, Luton and Watford.
The Green line 724 service links St. Albans with Heathrow and West London
through to Harlow in Essex.

St. Michael's has a Church watching scheme to enable the Church to be
opened for visitors. In general the scheme provides for the Church to
be open between the hours of 2.00 p.m. and 3.30 p.m. on Wednesday and
Thursday weekday afternoons and between the hours of 2.00 p.m. and 4.00
p.m. at weekends during the months of April to September.
The Church will not be open on the following dates during 2010:

Whilst every effort is made to adhere to these times, the scheme is
voluntary and there will be occasions when unavoidable exigencies will
cause an interruption to the planned opening times. Whenever possible
these will be advertised in advance on Pop up window associated with the
